When you create an account or authenticate via a third-party OAuth provider (including but not limited to Spotify, Google, Discord, or Facebook), we receive and store certain profile information made available by that provider, which may include your name, email address, profile photograph, and provider-assigned user identifier. The scope of information received is limited to what you authorize at the time of authentication.
b. Voting Data. We collect and retain records of your votes cast within the Service, including the tracks you vote for, the timestamps of those votes, and the aggregate vote counts associated with each track. This information is necessary to operate the core functionality of the Service.
c. Usage Information. We may automatically collect certain technical information when you access the Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages viewed. This information is used solely for operational and security purposes.
d. Communications. If you provide your email address, we may use it to send transactional messages such as sign-in codes, account confirmations, and service-related notices. We do not send unsolicited marketing communications without your explicit consent.

b. Third-Party Authentication Providers. When you authenticate using a third-party provider, your use of that provider's services is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. We receive only the information that you authorize the provider to share with us.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with the Service. Voting records and associated account data are retained for the duration of each weekly voting cycle and archived for historical leaderboard purposes. The Service uses session cookies and local storage to maintain your authenticated session and remember your preferences. These are strictly necessary for the operation of the Service. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising technologies.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Authentication is handled through industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocols and one-time passcodes transmitted over encrypted channels. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
